Jazz Tues 6:30-7:15pm

(April 26 –May 24)

Adult Jazz focuses on developing strength, flexibility, and body control by using center warm-ups and across the floor exercises. Skills such as isolations, extensions, leaps and turns are incorporated into upbeat fun combinations.


Dance Cardio Wed 5:45-6:30pm

Adult Dance Cardio is an easy and fun way to get your workout in!  Dance Cardio is accommodating for all fitness levels. It is simply about moving your body and having fun! Instead of learning choreography, participants simply show up, follow the instructor to the best of their ability, work up a sweat, and get their heart rate up.  All choreography can be easily modified to ensure that everyone is getting their best workout!


Hip Hop Wed 6:30-7:15pm

Adult HipHop is a fun class that incorporates popular styles of dancing to the trendy, music of today.  HipHop is designed to enhance your self-confidence and allow you to escape for a brief moment in time and channel your inner sass. Combinations will be taught as well as across the floor and center warm-ups that will leave a smile on your face.  

 

Contemporary Wed 7:15-8:30pm

(April 27 –May 25)

Adult Contemporary dance incorporates techniques from ballet, jazz, and lyrical in new spectacular ways. Contemporary focuses on the choreographer’s interpretation of the music.Movements are limitless as they represent the dancer’s emotions and inner most expression. Let your creative juices flow and enhance your dancing skills with the freedom of contemporary dance. 


Tap Wed 8:45-9:30pm 

(April 27 –May 25)

Adult Tap enables dancers to develop both musicality and coordination while focusing on rhythm and sound quality.  Dancers learn how to carefully listen while producing musical rhythms with their feet.

 

Lyrical Thurs 5:00-5:45pm

(April 28 –May 26)

Adult Lyrical dance expresses emotions through movement while fusing the highly technical elements of ballet and jazz. Lyrical enables the dancers to express themselves, interpret song lyrics, and tell stories through their dancing. 

 

Pilates Thurs 5:45-6:30pm

(April 28 –May 26)
Adult Pilates is a form of exercise that concentrates on strengthening the body, specifically focusing on the core.  This class will help improve posture, balance and flexibility.  While experimenting with different Pilates moves, you may also incorporate some barre movements as well.  Pilates conditions and works your muscles through lower intensity movements.

 


Ballet Thurs 6:30-7:15pm

(April 28 –May 26)

Adult Ballet helps build endurance, strength and flexibility.Ballet is designed to enhance technique by working at the barre, in the center, and down the floor. Dancers will develop poise, coordination, discipline, and grace.
